Salam Sessions – Rina Kaçinari & Orwa Saleh

Cellist Rina Kaçinari and oud player Orwa Saleh open this year’s Salam Sessions, presenting their new duo format that unites their instruments and musical visions.

Rina Kaçinari captivates audiences with her compositions, which she interprets through cello and vocals. Her style effortlessly moves between jazz, tango, pop, world music, and avant-garde, creating a fascinating sonic landscape. Orwa Saleh Orwa Saleh is renowned for his innovative approach to the oud. With exceptional virtuosity and a deep passion for the rich traditions of Arab music, he gives the instrument a contemporary voice.

Following their performance, the two artists invite the audience to the legendary Open Jam Session on the stage at Spektakel, as always, organized and curated by Orwa Saleh, host of the Salam Music Festival Center.
