After the concert, the host of Salam Sessions, Orwa Saleh, invites the audience to the legendary open jam session on the Spektakel stage. Musicians can register by sending an email to salon@salam-music.at and indicating their instrument.
Special guest: the band Badil from Morocco - Artists in Residence at Salam Music.
Cosmopolitan is an intercultural ensemble bringing together the renowned musicians Basma Jabr, Mahan Mirarab and Danial Moazeni. The band presents sounds from Iran, Turkey, Syria and the Balkans, combined with elements of jazz. Since its founding in 2022, Cosmopolitan has been developing a distinctive sound shaped by the influences of the musicians’ cultural backgrounds, free improvisation and emotional expressiveness. Drawing on personal stories, the music seeks to transcend cultural boundaries and celebrate cultural diversity.
