For the grand finale, the festival headquarters moves once more — this time to the heart of Favoriten. With food and music from the “Home Fado” series, Salam Music 2025 concludes on a richly atmospheric note.
Home Fade is a project by the association the Mosaic association, which is dedicated to women who have had to leave their home countries and have experienced difficult life events. The association works with art therapy and sees cooking as a creative process that has a profound effect when done together in a meaningful way.
At Home Fado, visitors gather in a cozy setting to enjoy delicious food together, accompanied by musical performances between courses.
The evening is curated, as always, by oud player Orwa Saleh, who this time welcomes singer and tanbur player Omid Darvish — guest curator of this year’s Salam Music edition — to the stage. Omid Darvish’s musical vision blends Iranian folk music, particularly Kurdish traditions, with contemporary genres such as jazz, electronic, and metal. His artistry is showcased in his two acclaimed music projects, HUUUM and Kurdophone.
Omid Darvish – Vocals, Tanbur
Orwa Saleh – Oud
An event by mosaic – united arts and culinarics, in collaboration with Salam Music.
